Final selection of images for panel

These are my final selected images to hang. Im really happy with the way that everything has turned out this semester. My final five images have been influenced by old medieval vegetable and fruit paintings. Just to try something a little different!

Hindu Temple

I went to Wollongong on Thursday as I wanted to take some more travel images.  I put together an article with my fave pics from this Hindu Temple that we stopped by on the way to Stanwell Park. It was a good day, but i wanted to go to so many more places, but there is only so many things that you can do in a day!! Also went to a couple of look outs around the area.

Bee to the Honey

This is the way that it is layed out for the Bee to the Honey article.

Brian's Bees

I went and visited some stall holders that i knew at the Old Bus Depot Markets about a month ago. This is where most of my stories of travels have come from, showing a part of their little world and what they enjoy doing. Brian sells, cheese, olives, dried meat and honey at the markets. I approached him with the idea of documenting his whole process from bee to the honey. This is how my story evolved and came together as an article. These are just some of the photos that i took.

Magazine

These are a few pages from the magazine that I have put together. It includes all of this semesters work, covering travel, food and fashion photography. I wanted them to look like articles from a magazine. I am happy with the way that they turned out. The magazine is about 36 pages long and its about A4. Can't wait to see it all put together. Had some problems with it, as i wanted it bigger than A4. However, the printer said that they cannot do it any bigger as their printer for smaller jobs (5 magazines) cannot do any bigger. So, i just stuck with it and I'll see how it turns out on Monday.

Peter's Property

I did this shoot last week on a Thursday on a property that's just past Tharwa. I had seen some photos of it before i went, which was the main reason that attracted me to the place. It wasn't a typical property with just farm animals and a veg garden. This man collects wood from all over the world and makes some amazing pieces from it. His passion for sculpting really shines through in his garden. I wanted to keep the photos on the 'travel photography' side, and i found so many details to photograph. This is another story that will be put together through a collage like display. My fave pic is the first one with the hands and the roses. I like the contrast between his hands and the roses, i find the image quite effective.
Feedback and comments would be great.

Murrumbateman Wineries

I went to Murrumbateman last weekend and took some photos at a few different wineries around the area. I didn't really want to just focus on the vines and the wine itself, as i want to cover a broader range of the properties. It was the Moving Wine Feast that happens there every October long weekend. I had gone to check it all out a few months ago when it was all completely bare, just to see what the area is like. I came across the Murrumbateman winery, and as it turned out they were also interested in getting some photos taken for their website.
This selection here is from a few different wineries. I was disappointed because the weather was pretty bad, with clouds and rain. So, I have arranged to go back in a couple of weeks when the vines are greener and its a nice sunny day.
Feedback would be great!!
